Elizabeth’s career in the IP field spans 30 years. She has extensive experience in the drafting, prosecution and litigation of Patent, Trade Mark and Design matters. Her legal knowledge and work ethic are highly valued by her Clients and they appreciate her commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.

Prior to joining Houlihan IP, Elizabeth was the Managing Partner of a competitor IP Firm for over 20 years. Before entering the IP profession, she lectured in Medicinal and Organic Chemistry and was then awarded a five-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry at the University of Melbourne. She has received numerous awards for her excellence, including being the only Australian Patent Attorney, who is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. She has been a frequent speaker at international conferences and previously served as the Vice-Chair of the International Trade Marks Law and Practice Committee of the IPO Association for ten years.
